Dean M. Viskovich

Hi! I’m Dean M. Viskovich, but you could just call me Dean. I could tell you about all the crazy things I’ve seen and done in my short time on this Earth, but I’m sure you’d rather just have me tell you a little about what makes me a legal expert on healthcare. Quickly though: I am originally from New York, but have called South Florida home for multiple decades; I’ve got three beautiful kids; and if I’m away from my desk, you will always find me somewhere on the green.

Anyway, here it goes:

I started out my career representing insurance companies in court as a trial attorney. Trust me, it was as exciting as it sounds, but it gave me a lot to learn and provided for an amazing opportunity for me to immerse myself in the area of healthcare. Eventually, I started to branch out and represented healthcare providers in litigation against those very same insurance companies.

After spending some twenty plus years as a trial attorney for healthcare providers, entities and insurance companies, I took my expertise and decided to pursue assisting providers out of the courtroom. Having seen CPT, ICD and HCPC codes for over 7,000 days (yes, yes I did do the math), it felt natural to be in front of clients instead of a judge. I transitioned into multiple legal and compliance officer roles in-house for various laboratory practices located throughout the Southeastern United States.

Today, I bring to you all that I’ve gathered over almost 40 years of service to clients. I’ve seen almost everything that comes across a healthcare provider or entity, and for the things I haven’t seen, I’ve heard of. Today, I bring to you expertise, efficiency and trust for you and/or your practice.

I look forward to learning about your practice or business, along with building and implementing a strategy with you on how to tackle any and all issues before they become an “issue”.
